Chris is the President of the Advanced Strategies Group, a firm specializing in wealth preservation and wealth transfer and the taxation of qualified retirement plans. The Advanced Strategies Group's clients are the owners of privately held corporations, highly compensated corporate executives, and professionals.
During the late 1980's, Chris was the youngest Senior Vice President ever with Prudential Securities. He was a high-profile, institutional stock broker, trading securities for banks, savings and loans, and municipalities. Following his illustrious career with Prudential, Chris moved to another area of financial service, estate and tax planning. Working for the CIGNA Corporation, Chris was one of their leading estate and tax planning specialists.
In 1993, Chris left CIGNA to form The Advanced Strategies Group, Inc., to be able to offer a wider spectrum of products and services to his clientele. Today, The Advanced Strategies Group, Inc. has offices in New York, Detroit, Boston, Los Angeles, Newport Beach, Boca Raton, Miami, and Naples, and is continuing to grow.
Chris Christensen has been listed as an Honored Professional in the American Directory of Who's Who in Executives and Businesses for 1998-1999. Mr. Christensen is probably one of the most in demand public speakers in the area of wealth transfer in the medical community, speaking to hospitals, medical schools and charitable foundations throughout the United States.
