John J. Turcotte, ChFC, CLU

John has twenty seven years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry. He specializes in developing estate and business succession planning for highly compensated executives, professionals, physicians, and owners of closely held corporations. Prior to joining The Advanced Strategies Group in August 2007, he spent the past fifteen years in management with Lincoln Financial Advisors (formerly Cigna Financial Advisors), and before Lincoln five years in retail banking with Comerica Bank, five years with Mutual Benefit Life, and two years with Mass Mutual as a financial planner. During this period he qualified for numerous industry and company awards.
John has a Marketing Degree from Northern Michigan University, in Marquette, Michigan. He holds the Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter designations. His professional memberships include: The Financial Planning Association, The Society of Financial Service Professionals, The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, The Estate Planning Council of Detroit and The American Association of Life Underwriters.
